Steve Sloan, BSN, RN
Clinical Operations Manager
Steve brings a wealth of experience to Hema-Tec, with over 16 years in healthcare, including 13 years specializing in dialysis. After earning his nursing degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, he gained valuable experience in a dialysis clinic before joining Hema-Tec in 2006.
In his current role, Steve oversees the daily activities of the program, ensuring smooth operations by managing the daily caseload, scheduling treatments, and training new team members. He also maintains strong hospital relations and is responsible for collecting and reporting QA and statistical data.
Steve has a fulfilling life outside of work. He enjoys spending time with his wife and family, gardening, building an outdoor kitchen, traveling, and playing golf, euchre, and fantasy football with friends. A sports enthusiast, Steve is a huge fan of the Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings.
